PLANNED ENGINEERING Routeco can provide customers with the advantages of having a full-time, industry-trained, engineering support person to service plant floor systems by assisting the operators, maintenance, and engineering staff, and performing many of the other tasks necessary to achieve the primary goal of minimising downtime. PRODUCT CROSS REFERRING Many plants have a huge installed base of products within their industrial control and automation systems from many manufactures around the world. In order to maintain equipment onsite a vast inventory of product needs to be kept just in case there is a breakdown. A lot of product today now serves the same purpose and in many cases is capable of being directly swapped out. Rather than wait for things to go wrong and trying to source obscure product we can offer a service to identify those products and offer readily available units from stock. Investment in this service can save resource, inventory costs and reduce downtime. SOFTWARE LOADING Customers who purchase computers and software from Routeco have the opportunity to use our ‘ready to run’ service. The computer hardware and any options are installed and the software is loaded, configured and tested. The complete package is then shipped to the customer and straight out of the box it is ‘ready to run’. START-UP PROGRAMS Our start-up programs are designed to get you started with our products with minimum fuss. Our Routeco engineers can come to your site to consult on your specific requirements. There are three options available; Basic set up and configuration Assistance with installation of specified hardware and software and basic diagnostics to ensure the products are functioning correctly; User training Includes one-to-one tutoring with a Routeco engineer. (For formal training consult our training services) Application assistance Includes configuration of hardware and software products, verify field wiring and check interfacing.
